Mission

SpotlightedMe exists to give adults a small, quiet corner of the internet where they can ask a simple question - how do I actually look? - and receive honest, specific, non-algorithmic feedback on their appearance, style, creations or portfolio

Most social platforms flatten judgement into likes and follower counts. Our goal is the opposite: real human reviewers and private, low-stakes spaces where people can improve without broadcasting their insecurities to an audience

Principles

  • Adults only The Service is restricted to users aged 18 and older. We take age-restriction and child-safety obligations extremely seriously
  • Feedback, not social We are not trying to become a social network or a dating platform. Engagement is not a success metric for us
  • Strictly non-adult The Service is for appearance, style and portfolio feedback. Sexually explicit, pornographic, nude and intimate material is forbidden
  • Consent-first If a photograph or video depicts another person, that person must have consented to being depicted on the Service
  • Transparency about limits We are honest about what the Service is not - it is not therapy, it is not medical advice, it is not a guarantee of self-esteem
